Lorak was a male Klingon who served as member of the Klingon High Council in the mid 23rd century. In 2260, following the death of Chancellor Durak, Lorak ascended to the Chancellorship, due in large part to the efforts of his chief advisor, Gorkon, son of Toq. Lorak served as Chancellor until his death in 2291, and was eventually succeeded by Gorkon. (TOS video game: Klingon Academy)

This information is contradicted by the Star Trek: Vanguard series, which has Sturka as Chancellor during the 2260s, and also establishes a different career path for Gorkon.
