Lis Kaslan was the captain of the Dowager Queen. The Dowager Queen was the ship that crash-landed in the middle of a then very small Mos Eisley. Lis was the only known surviving crew member of the crash and he was the one who set up the Eisley city, later named Mos Eisley to coincide with the older spaceport Mos Espa.
