Light Cruiser was a designation used for a variety of capital ships and warships in different classification systems.

Characteristics

Some light cruisers ranged from 42 meters ( Warden-class light cruiser, Guardian-class light cruiser etc.) to 400 meters in length (MC40a light cruiser).
