History

Lewis Padgett, a super villain from the 1930s, returns to Earth after a 40 absence with aliens. He is rejuvenated and intends to return to life as Microwave Man, commiting a series of crimes and intending to battle Superman to demonstrate his power. Powered by microwave radiation, he found that, due to the increase in microwave use during the intervening years, that his power has increased substantially.

Microwave Man lures Superman into battle and passes away after he believes he has beaten Superman. The aliens, who informed Superman that the rejuvination was for a limited time take Microwave Man's body.^[1]
