Leon was a pink lizard with bulgy eyes. His two biggest interests are bikini shows and money. Leon was prone to pull Gonzo into his schemes, and in one episode he referred to Kermit as "cuz", implying that their cold-blooded relation made them cousins.
He was a regular on The Jim Henson Hour and was featured prominently in the "Cliff's Nightmare" episode of The Cosby Show. He conned Cliff out of his money.

Leon is Daren Hightower's personal bodyguard in the Heights district of the Hub in 2161. He decides who does and does not see Mr. Hightower.
Leon will gruffly converse with you, but he's not exactly useful for information. If Mr. Hightower yells for the guards, you're personally kicked out by Leon.
Leon's only function is to be the deadliest guard Hightower has, especially if you've downloaded an armor piercing ammo fix.
He has five marks on his 14mm Pistol supposedly from five people who wanted to kill Mr. Hightower.

Leon is one of Firion's allies in Final Fantasy II, but he also serves as an antagonist throughout the game. He is the Emperor's right hand man.
Contents |
At the beginning of the game he is separated from his allies, including his sister Maria, during an attack by Palamecian Knights. He later becomes the Emperor's Dark Knight, and fights against his former allies. It is never stated why Leon join forces with the empire and the Emperor. He was once the leader of the building of Dreadnought but was later replaced by Borghen, forced to work behind the scenes to put on the finishing touches.
When Firion and his party go to Bafsk to stop the construction of the Dreadnought, he informs them that they are already late and the Dreadnought is complete. When Firion and the others dropped the Sunfire in the engine, Leon came to see what happened to the engine. This is the time that Maria recognized his voice. He later appears to capture Firion and the others in an attempt to rescue Hilda. After the Emperor is destroyed in the Whirlwind, Leon attempts to crown himself Emperor, but is forced to flee with Firion and Maria after the Emperor returns from the dead in demonic form. Leon later joins forces with Firion, Maria, and Guy to defeat the Emperor at the Pandaemonium. At the end of the game, after the death of the Dark Emperor, Leon states that "too much has gone on between us" (referring to Firion's party). He also implies that he and Firion will meet again one day and leaves. Firion comments that when he is ready to return he will be welcomed with open arms. It is never stated if Leon ever comes back to the party in the original game or the remakes.
Leon's stats are usually higher than most of the characters when the player regains him, unless the player has spent hours increasing the characters' stats. Leon starts off with no spells and the least MP of the starting characters but has the potential to be a potent spell caster and is already a deadly fighter. However, his health is very low. A good idea will be give him high-level magic, like Holy, Flare, or Osmose. He can be considered a master of all weaponry. His initial equipment is a Flame Sword and a Poison Axe as weapons, and he joins the party wearing the Diamond equipment.

Leon von Schroeder, known in Japan as Leonhart von Schroider is the younger brother of Zigfried von Schroeder. He is a very famous duelist who uses the alias of "Leon Wilson" when he duels. He joins Kaiba's KC Grand Championship tournament to help his brother gain revenge on Kaiba Corporation, though he also aspired to duel Yugi. He idolizes his brother, yet realizes that Zigfried's actions are wrong. When Zigfried is disqualified, he recruits Leon to help him with his plot to destroy KaibaCorp, by playing the Golden Castle of Stromberg, which will release a computer virus into the system. Leon initially agrees because he is unaware of his brother's plan. During the Duel with Yugi, he eventually comes to his senses and refuses to help Zigfried, but is unable to remove the card from play. Yugi, however, comes up with a strategy to destroy it by turning its' own effect against it, while Kaiba works on stopping the virus.
Leon's family never paid very much attention to him when he was a kid. They were always focused on Zigfried, and Leon discovered a fondness for fairy tales and even wrote a letter to Pegasus, requesting that he make Fairytale Cards. Leon is a big fan of Yugi and has admired him since Duelist Kingdom. In a scene removed from the dub, Leon is seen watching Yugi in various tournaments on TV. Leon has wanted to duel against Yugi since Duelist Kingdom and gains his chance in Episode 196.
In the English version, Leon made a final appearance in Episode 220. He had no lines, he was just standing at the balcony of his castle, looking up at the sky. Zigfried was not shown. In the Japanese ending, Leon was seen with Zigfried, who was seen trying to make a business deal with Maximillion Pegasus. He is also the final duelist Yugi and Atem face as one.
Leon uses a Fairy Tales Deck, composed of cards that were specially created by Maximillion Pegasus upon Leon's request. Tactically, the deck focuses on restricting the opponent's ability to counterattack by removing their monsters from play temporarily or lowering their attack power.
