Variants

One-Sleeved Leather Jacket

Gameplay articles: Fallout, Fallout 2, Fallout 3

A black, heavy leather jacket with one sleeve.

Two-Sleeved Leather Jacket

Gameplay articles: Fallout 2, Van Buren

This heavily padded leather jacket is unusual in that it has two sleeves. You'll definitely make a fashion statement whenever, and wherever, you rumble.

Tunnel Snake Outfit

Gameplay article: Fallout 3

A leather jacket with a snake emblem on the back, worn on top of a Vault 101 Jumpsuit, used by the Tunnel Snakes gang in Vault 101.

Motorcycle Footbal Armor

Gameplay articles: Fallout, Fallout 2

This type of leather armor was originally designed for Motorcycle Football and other dangerous contact sports. It is likely that the simple construction techniques required to produce armor of this design made it a popular choice following a nuclear disaster. It provides moderate protection, and the light construction makes it easier to dodge attacks while worn. Unfortunately, it provides little to no protection against explosions or plasma attack.

Motorcycle Footbal Armor Mk II

Gameplay article: Fallout 2

A superior version of the Motorcycle Footbal armor design, finely crafted from tanned brahmin hide.

Brotherhood Leather Armor

Gameplay articles: Fallout Tactics, Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel

The Brotherhood of Steel designed their own version of the leather armor, as a standard issue for all human members of the organization.

Brotherhood Leather Armor Mk II

Gameplay article: Fallout Tactics

A superior version of the Brotherhood of Steel leather armor design, finely crafted from tanned brahmin hide.

A detailed image of Leather boots

Leather boots are basic boots worn on the Feet that offer slight bonuses to defence. Players can make this item through the Crafting skill at level 7 from a soft leather, giving 16.25 Crafting experience. It can also be found while big net fishing.

They respawn in the following places:

  • In the Lumbridge Castle basement - 2 spawns-one just behind the ladder and one just ahead of the gap leading to the main basement.
  • In the Wizards Tower - 3 spawns
  • Al Kharid, house north-west of the General store - 1 spawn

They are also randomly found in crates in boxes around RuneScape.

There is a stock of 10 of them at Thessalia's Fine Clothes. Players who have completed the Digsite quest may obtain them from the tool rack in the Varrock Museum (but they will need to drop the boots to obtain more than one).

Trivia

  • Most F2P wizards wear leather boots instead of Fighting or Fancy boots as they provide no negative magic attack bonus.
