History

Lar-On was one of dozens of Kryptonian criminals sentenced into exile in the Phantom Zone. Lar-On contracted a rare Kryptonian version of lycanthropy, one which transformed a person into the were-creature that they most closely identified with. In Lar-Von's case, he became a werewolf. Lar-On's condition brought him into conflict with Superman and Batman.

• This version of Lar-On (Earth-One), including all history and corresponding appearances, was erased from existence following the collapse of the Multiverse in the 1985-86 Crisis on Infinite Earths limited series and is now considered apocryphal.
