The Lamia is an enemy from Final Fantasy IX. It can be found in Gizamaluke's Grotto. Their attacks will often Confuse the male members of the party with its Entice ability. The Lamia is a very quick enemy and will usually take a turn immediately after each of your party members acts. As such, it is best to take the Lamia out quickly before it casts Might on itself too many times, as even high-level characters can succumb to a single blow. It will also sometimes use Cure on itself after it is attacked. This is possibly the most troublesome enemy in the game's first disc.
