Kris Russell (born May 2, 1987, in Caroline, Alberta) is a Canadian professional ice hockey defenceman currently playing for the Columbus Blue Jackets of the National Hockey League (NHL). He has a twin brother named Ryan who is a prospect in the Montreal Canadiens system and is currently playing for their AHL team, the Hamilton Bulldogs.

Russell was drafted in the 3rd round, 67th overall, by the Columbus Blue Jackets in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft.
