Koko the Penguin stars in Panwapa. She wears pink glasses and loves badminton. She is very excitable, screaming in terror when she first meets Azibo the Monster and then running off to warn the others, and then hiding in her cottage. However she is also the first to go offer to help him build his house once she gets over her fear.

For the week of 14-21 October 2008, Koko appeared with Abby Cadabby on the Sesamestreet.org website, to mark Wild Animal Day.

Koko, also known as Coco, is a yellow female Chocobo who consistently appears as the love interest for Boko.

Final Fantasy V

Koko in the Pirate's Hideout in Final Fantasy V.

Koko is Boko's friend in Final Fantasy V. The two Chocobos meet in Pirates' Hideout and have several Chocobo babies together. She is first met by the Warriors of Light at the Chocobo Forest in the Second World, although Bartz points that she cannot be mounted due to her gender.

Final Fantasy VIII

In the external minigame for Final Fantasy VIII on the Pocket Station Koko is once again Boko's love interest. Their paths first cross during Boco's quest to find MiniMog. Throughout Boco's journey their paths continue to cross until Koko herself is kidnapped by the Demon King which incites Boco to go and rescue her.

Every time Boko and Koko interact, Boko's power increases, which results in a more powerful Chocobo summon in Final Fantasy VIII.

Trivia

  • In the Dawn of Souls and 20th Anniversary remakes of the original Final Fantasy, Koko is one of the automatic names the player can choose for the Black Mage Job.
