Kleef was a male Gungan bounty hunter and one of the top henchmen of Chop'aa Notimo.
Contents |
Kleef was a Gungan warrior and veteran of the Battle of Naboo. He left his homeworld as part of Senator Jar Jar Binks's security detail. Growing bored with his job and seeking both adventure and credits, Kleef journeyed to the Coruscant Underworld. During the Clone Wars, he became a bounty hunter, working for the highest bidder.
He eventually met Notimo, who hired him as a trainer for his other recruits, becoming one of Notimo's top henchmen and over time his second-in-command and most trusted lieutenant. When Notimo confronted Senator Garm Bel Iblis in Cloud City, the senator was captured by Kleef. When Galen Marek heard of the kidnapping, he hunted Kleef down to find out that Garm was being held hostage by Chop'aa himself. Marek, frustrated, engaged Kleef in a duel, in which the Gungan called upon his H-TFUs for help. Marek fought Kleef before Force gripping him, force choking him, and flinging him out of a window. He fell hundreds of meters to his death.
Kleef prided himself on knowing how to deal with specific threats and equipping himself with weapons capable of dealing with certain prey. Among these weapons were a variety of vibroblades and blasters.
Kleef can be unlocked as a playable skin during The Force Unleashed gameplay via the cheat code "KLEEF." When selected, however, cutscenes are disabled.
In The Force Unleashed, the voice of Kleef is provided by voice actor Kristoffer Tabori, who also portrays Senator Garm Bel Iblis in the same game.

Kleef was a Male Gungan who was known to be a traitor to anyone he made contact with, except his boss Chop'aa Notimo.

Kleef had been loyal to his fellow Gungans for many years. He had been part of the Gungan Grand Army and was a respected veteran. He was one of the many Gungans who participated in the Battle of Naboo. One year before that in 33 BBY, Kleef had been someone to question the methods of Boss Nass and why they hated the people of Naboo.
After the battle in 32 BBY, Kleef officially retired from his services in the Gungan Grand Army and became part of Senator Jar Jar Binks' security retail. However, months before the battle, he had been the only Gungan to work as a spy for the criminal Skelldon J. Bones. Kleef quit his job as a security officer, seeking adventure and credits, and continued his works for Skelldon J. Bones. He traveled to the Coruscant Underworld and became a traitor to the Republic. Kleef was one of the many terrorists who always questioned his boss. Skelldon was working with the Sith Lord Darth Wraddiqus, who was a Sith Lord from the early days of the Old Republic. Kleef always worked with prototypes of a new droid called Heavy Tactical Fighting Units, or H-TFUs for short. Kleef eventually built two of them, only to be destroyed by Galen Marek in 2 BBY. Kleef discovered that Skelldon refused to even bother paying the Gungan and the two broke out into a duel, which resulted in Skelldon using his heavy blaster to shoot the Gungan's right eye off of his skull.
Kleef quit The Skelldon J. Bones Crime Organization and was hired by former Separatist bounty hunter Chop'aa Notimo. Notimo had been rescued by Kleef from a Republic prison and Kleef was let into Black Sun, Chop'aa Notimo's organization that he worked for. Kleef trained Notimo's new recruits and became one of the hunter's top best hunters and second-in command, along with his trusted lieutenant. In 2 BBY, Chop'aa, Kleef, and many hunters went to Bespin for their last mission. The group started a riot which killed many civilians and guards. However, the Jedi Galen Marek had arrived because he had a meeting with Senator Garm Bel Iblis. However, Marek was informed that Garm was negotiating with Chop'aa at the loading bays. When Marek arrived and cleared the Black Sun transport from ever flying again, the city's chief-administrator, Lobot, informed the Jedi that Garm wanted to talk to him. However, Lobot soon learned that the senator was kidnapped by Kleef. When Marek arrived to Kleef's quarters, the Gungan was repairing his H-TFUs. Marek asked for Garm, but Kleef gave Garm to his boss. Marek eventually dueled Kleef and his H-TFUs. Both H-TFUs were eventually destroyed and Kleef was killed when Marek force gripped him and flung him out the window to his death.
Kleef originally had been one to misplace his trust in everyone, sans Chop'aa. He also got frustrated when not being paid.
