Klaatu was one of several Kadas'sa'Nikto who served Jabba the Hutt. He was Barada's main assistant, in charge of repairing the skiffs.

Klaatu was noted as a gambler, and would try his best to make his way to Jabba's throne room to view executions by Jabba's rancor.

Biography

He was essentially an indentured servant at Jabba's Palace, working off a large gambling debt to the Hutt. He was secretly plotting to kill Jabba, but was killed himself while fighting Luke Skywalker on the deck of Jabba's sail barge during the Skirmish at Carkoon.

Behind the scenes

According to Leland Chee, Klaatu is the Kadas'sa'Nikto in the Throne Room, but he has already been named Wooof (an original production name) by Decipher. This image used for the Wooof CCG image is the only official picture of Klaatu.

Klaatu was named for Klaatu barada nikto, a phrase from the 1951 film The Day The Earth Stood Still. "Klaatu" is the name of the humanoid alien protagonist in the film.

Klaatu is an NPC located outside Jabba's Palace on Tatooine at (-6178 -6381). He is involved in the neutral part of the Corellian Corvette instanced dungeon and will shuttle you to the Neutral Corvette if you have the proper Travel Authorization (ticket).
