Khorm was a frozen planet located in the Mid Rim, home to the Khormai species. One of its most rare and valuable resources was an ore called Agrocite that, when turned into plasma, could greatly enhance the destructive power of turbolasers. In 22 BBY, the Galactic Republic and Confederacy of Independent Systems fought over the resource in the Battle of Khorm. After the battle, it became host of a Republic Command Post for the rest of the war.
