The mine, as seen from in-game.

The Karamjan Volcano Mine is a small mine containing four gold rocks. Although it is the second largest gold mine in the free-to-play version of RuneScape, it is rarely used. The main weakness of this mine for free world users is not so much the skeletons and bats, but the fact that it is a boat trip away from any bank. The advantage of members is that this mine is quite close to the Tzhaar bank using the cave entrance right next to the mine. Using this mine can also be combined with a lobster fishing trip, or some monster killing in the dungeon. It is a mine where the world switch tactic can be useful.

With the "Lumbridge Home Teleport" update, it is a little easier to access a bank once your inventory is full of gold - provided, of course, that it has been 30 minutes since you last used this feature.

A good option for players is to use the cabbage-port for the Explorer's ring 3, which will teleport them north of Port Sarim, which is fairly close to Draynor Village bank.
