Joshua Peacock was born on 8th April 2002 at Weatherfield General Hospital and is the son of Maxine Peacock. At first it was believed that Maxine's husband Ashley Peacock was his father, however it was revealed that Maxine had had a one-night stand with Matt Ramsden, Joshua's real father. Ashley was listed as Joshua's father on his birth certificate and has bought him up as his own. Maxine was killed by Richard Hillman when Joshua was just nine months old. Joshua now has a stepmother, Claire Peacock, who started off as his nanny. Shortly after Claire found out she was pregnant, Matt got in touch with Ashley and requested to see his son. Matt has now visited Joshua and has regular contact with him. Claire and Ashley had a baby boy, Freddie in July 2006, a brother for Joshua.

He is currently played by Benjamin Beresford but was previously played by Brandon Jackson and Stephen Collins.

From Final Fantasy Wiki

Joshua Corrinne Bardorba (ジョシュア・バルドルバ, Joshua Barudoruba) is the young son of Duke Aldous Byron Bardorba in Vagrant Story. The Duke sired the boy at an elder age, but considers the child to be his "soul", threatening to kill anyone who harms his Joshua. Interestingly, Joshua looks almost exactly the same as the Duke's first son when the elder son was his age.

Storyline

Joshua tearfully begs Hardin not to die

The cult, Müllenkamp captures the boy in the beginning of game, though the exact reason is never revealed why. The timid boy remains mute for most of the game out of fear. The Müllenkamp leader, Sydney Losstarot, places Joshua in the hands of his second-in-command, John Hardin. Hardin, out of love for his long-lost little brother, shows Joshua much affection despite their situation. When Hardin dies at the end of the game, Joshua finally speaks, beging Hardin not to leave him. In the end, he goes off with Callo Merlose, though their fates after the end of the game are never shown.

Biography

Early Childhood

Joshua was conscripted into the SPARTAN-II program in 2517 when he was identified by Dr. Catherine Halsey at age six as a physically and mentally exceptional child. He was brought to Reach and trained by Déjà and Chief Petty Officer Franklin Mendez alongside the other Spartans. He was one of the few Spartans to survive the augmentation process. During the Human-Covenant War, he took part in many battles, including the Battle of Jericho VII (although he was never mentioned by name until the Battle of Sigma Octanus IV).

Battle of Sigma Octanus IV

In 2552, Joshua took part in the Battle of Sigma Octanus IV. He was designated as Red-One and led Red Team along the coast of a continent on Sigma Octanus IV, in order to recon the wharfs around Côte d'Azur in preparation for a strike on the Covenant held city with a HAVOK Nuclear Warhead. His team was successful, and they subsequently retreated to a Pelican for dust off with no casualties, and only one Spartan injured (James), as the entire city, and tens of thousands of Covenant within it, were vaporized in the nuclear blast.

Reach and Death

Joshua was then on the UNSC Pillar of Autumn, in complete brevity until Covenant forces appeared above Reach. During the Battle of Reach, Joshua was assigned to Fred's team and designated as Red Three. As he and Fred descended to the surface of Reach, their Pelican, Bravo 001, was shot down by air artillery. Joshua attempted to activate the auto pilot of the Pelican, but all of its computer systems had been destroyed[1]. Joshua was, however, able to slow the vessel down enough so that the Spartans could make a "hard landing"; or jump out of the Pelican and land directly on the ground[2].

Once landed, Joshua found a Sniper Rifle and was the first Spartan to arrive at ODG Facility A-331, and spot Charlie Company. He then radioed Fred and the Spartans were able to regroup at the facility. Fred then ordered Joshua to recon the area. Joshua was the Spartan who spotted a Covenant landing zone and patched the image through to Fred using his COM[3]. Joshua, Fred, and Kelly-087 then piloted Banshees toward the Gravity Lift of the Covenant cruiser and threw a Fury Tac Nuke into it. However, as the Banshees neared the lift, Covenant fired their Plasma Cannons at the Banshees, hitting Joshua's Banshee. He was last seen trailing smoke and losing altitude just before the Fury Tactical Nuke destroyed the area[4].

If he crashed, it is unlikely that he survived the blast, and even more unlikely that he survived the subsequent glassing of Reach. Even if he had survived the glassing, he would still have been in the middle of a Covenant army. Fred tried to radio to Joshua, but received no response[5]. The EMP given off by the Nuke could be the reason why he received no response. He is currently listed as MIA and is assumed to be dead.
