Joe the Armadillo is a character who appeared as the host of special features on the Kermit's Swamp Years DVD. In one of his many mishaps with the crew, he has a conflict with Bill Barretta in his trailer. He also has a habit of mistakenly calling the people he talks to "Joe", and after being corrected on their name, calling them by their real first name and then "Joe".
The puppet was first used as Dooley the Armadillo in The Animal Show, and was also used for Annette in the fourth season of Bear in the Big Blue House. The puppet also appeared in some Puppet Up shows.
