The Javelin is a type of ranged weapon. It is not smithable or fletchable, and can be bought only from the Ranging Guild and from the Pest Control minigame archery shop. Certain monsters drop different types of javelins, however, the javelin drops are usually not very common. All javelins can be poisoned for greater damaged effect. Javelins can not be poisoned with karambwan poison.
The Javelin was an aquatic craft armed with surface-to-air missiles for targeting airspeeders and spacecraft. They were used by the Rebel Alliance to accompany water fleets or water transport vessels to guard against strafing and to provide anti-air defense to Rebel shipyards.
The Heavy Javelin was an upgraded model of the standard Javelin. Instead of one surface-to-air missile launcher, the Heavy Javelin had two.
