History

Jason Blood, a knight in the service of King Arthur, betrayed Camelot for his love, Morgaine Le Faye. Morgaine killed him, but Merlin thought that was a punishment too merciful, and bound him to a creature of the Pit: Etrigan.

With his knowledge of Occultism, Jason Blood became an ally of Batman, and later became a member of the Justice League.
