Ivan Baranka (born May 19, 1985 in Ilava, Slovakia) is a Slovak defenseman with the Hartford Wolf Pack in the AHL. He was drafted 50th overall in 2003 by the New York Rangers.

Baranka signed his first pro contract with the Rangers in September, 2004, and has been playing with their farm team for two full seasons. Prior to that he was a member of the Everett Silvertips in the WHL for two seasons.

In 2008, Baranka signed with Spartak Moscow of the upstart Continental Hockey League.
