Intimidation is the ability to command respect through the use of fear. This ability proves particularly useful when combined with the skill of Interrogation. Although primarily demonstrated by super-villains and other disreputable characters, some heroes including Batman, Guy Gardner and the Midnighter routinely use the art of intimidation to procure information from a suspect. The ability to "instill great fear" is highly valued amongst members of the Sinestro Corps.

Notes

Intimidation is very situational and only becomes useful if implementing certain tactics. However, by using it to push back enemies you can escape the tackle zone or even keep distance from the enemy while using ranged skills. Some Iops prefer to level Intimidation to level 4 to receive the 3-tile knockback, which allows them to solo basically any melee 4-range monster without taking damage. It can also be used in combination with Strengthstorm to counter the awkward range. Can also be useful against monsters or people with shields. With update 1.27, recoil damage from being pushed into a wall is increased.
