Indianapolis is a large city located on Earth in the central United States of America. The city is the capital of the state of Indiana.

Shortly after her revival in 2364, Claire Raymond and Counselor Troi searched through the computer records for information concerning her children and their descendants. They soon discovered that her great-great-great-great-great-grandson Thomas Raymond was living just outside Indianapolis with his family. Raymond decided that once she returned to Earth that she would seek out Thomas and his family. (TNG episode The Neutral Zone).
