An Incense Burner.
Incense burners are pieces of furniture that can be built in the Chapel of a player-owned house through the Construction skill.

Lit incense burners increase the amount of Prayer experience points gained when using bones with the altar in the room (depending on the altar). Note that Mahogany burners and Marble burners both yield the same experience bonus. Lit burners last 2 minutes and 10 seconds before they burn out, although they are immediately you get the same experience bonus with if the owner of the house leaves.

Both incense burners give the same prayer bonus. The player must have a Marrentil herb and a Tinderbox to light a burner. For maximum prayer bonus, both burners have to be lit.

Building incense burners requires at least 61 Construction, two Steel Bars and four Oak planks. Creating incense burners gives 280 Construction experience.
