I Am a Monster is a 1976 Sesame Street storybook featuring Herry Monster.

As Herry introduces himself, he runs into Cookie Monster, knocking over his bag of cookies. He then knocks over the Sesame Street sign. He makes for it by getting a kitten down from a tree. He eats dinner with his monster family and then goes to bed, dreaming of a peaceful beach vacation.

Reprints of the book were issued in 1984 by Goldencraft, and in 1999 by Golden Books.
