History

Hydra was a young woman who was granted superhuman abilities by a 45,000 year-old sorcerer known as the Weaver. She was one of several such villains selected to combat Power Girl. Hydra and Power Girl fought with one another in midtown Manhattan, and Hydra used her powers to keep Power Girl off her feet. Unable to defeat her however, she quickly disappeared from the battle.

Powers and Abilities

Powers

• Hydrokinesis:: Hydra could manipulate the movement and flow of any liquid material, mostly water. She demonstrated her adeptness with this ability by breaking open water mains, fire hydrants and gasoline tanks.
