The Hunters' crossbow is a crossbow which requires level 50 Ranged to use. The crossbow may be used to fire Kebbit bolts (same power as Mithril arrows) and Long kebbit bolts (same power to Adamant arrows), and has a fairly quick firing rate, equivalent to a shortbow. The crossbow can be bought from Leon, who is located in the hunting shop in Yanille.
This crossbow has a higher Ranged bonus than a Steel crossbow. Although the crossbow is somewhat inaccurate compared to a Magic shortbow or an Adamant crossbow, it is a popular weapon due to its cheap price, effective bolts usage, and firing speed.
Prior to the game improvements update on 18 June 2007, this crossbow had a better Ranged bonus than that of a Rune crossbow.
It can fire a Mithril Grapple.
