The Cavalier was a mysterious thief. He stole from the rich and gave to the poor. Though this gained him the admiration of the lower societies of Gotham. Batman saw through his act: he gave little to the poor, and kept most to himself. Batman defeated him, and left him tied up in front of the police station.
