Hub's Central Council is an organization that governs The Hub from 2128 to at least 2161.
The Hubs' Central Council was founded at the end of the Great Merchant Wars in 2128 as a result of the negotiations between Roy Greene and the various merchant factions. The council consisted of two representatives from each othe Hub Caravan parties: The Water Merchants, Crimson Caravans and the Far Go Traders and was presumably chaired by the current town Sherrif; who would be the decendants of Roy Greene. In 2161 his grandson Justin Greene is Sherrif. The council's job was to maintain the status quo of the Hub; furthermore it was designed to help mediate any disagreements between the various Merchant factions.
It is possible the Hubs' Central Council was responsible for agreeing on using Nuka-cola bottle caps AKA "Hub bucks" as the regional currency.
The Hub's Central Council is mentioned in the original Fallout.
