Main article: Laser Pistol
This kind of electric laser weapon appears only in the city of Los and is to be manufactured using technology contained in the Secret Vault. It's equipped by the low ghouls of the cult Church of the Lost.

It shoots a blue electric ray.

The weapon uses a blue electric ray that can affect multiple targets (so pierces the first target to reach the other) and cause electrical burns. With the skill Energy Charge, you can charge it for the equivalent of three rays for three times more damage and ammo.

The Home-Made Electric Laser Pistol appears only in Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel, It is one of the laser pistols that replaces the Wattz 1000 Laser Pistol from previous Fallout games.

Behind the scenes

  • It's named Home-Made Laser Pistol in the game but this weapon is named " Short Raygun " on Concept Art.
  • In the Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel Official Strategy Guide, a different image is shown for this weapon, but the true picture is that, due to a change of developers.
