Holy Rod (ホーリー ロッド Hōrī Roddo), sometimes called Holy Staff or Holy Wand, is a recurring weapon in the series. It is often a high-ranked Staff or Rod, and is naturally Holy-elemental and can sometimes cast the spell Holy, either by using it as an item or by attacking with it. It is usually restricted to mage classes.

Final Fantasy III

The Holy Wand is the most powerful weapon for the Devout class, only obtainable after a Devout reaches Job Level 99. It provides 110 Attack and +20 Mind, and casts Curaja when used as an item.

Final Fantasy VI

The Holy Rod, originally called Pearl Rod due to censoring, is a high-ranked rod that can be used by Gogo, Relm, and Strago. It is Holy-elemental that casts Holy when used as an item and has a random chance of casting the spell when attacking with it, and provides 124 Attack.

Final Fantasy XI

The Holy Wand is a high-level wand that increases Divine Magic skill. It is crafted by alchemists.

Final Fantasy XII

The Holy Rod is the second strongest rod in the game, and requires 35 LP to use. It inflicts Holy-elemental damage and provides +53 Attack, +2 Magic, and +30 MP.

Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Ring of Fates

The Holy Staff is a mid-ranked Staff for Yuke that provides +50 Attack, +10 Defense, and +70 Magic.

Dissidia Final Fantasy

The Holy Rod is a level 88 rod that grants +272 HP, +57 Attack, and +1 Defense. It also increases Magic Damage by 20%.

Description

The Holy Rod is a Divine Favor Based Monk wand that inflicts Fire Damage. The Holy Rod is a one handed weapon allowing the use of an off-hand focus item.

Location

Holy Rods can be obtained from the Drops from Monsters of the Monk Profession and Collectors.

Dye

Dye can be applied and will affect the whole rod, with the yellow parts taking on the most color.
