Here and Now is a Fallout 2, Fallout 3, Fallout Tactics, J.E. Sawyer's Fallout Role-Playing Game and Lionheart Perk.

This perk grants an additional experience level with all advantages that entails.

  • The only actual benefit of this perk is the time not wasted on gaining exp through normal means.
  • This perk effectively loses you a perk. Since there are only 20 levels in Fallout 3 (30 with Broken Steel) you're sacrificing a perk later for some skill points and extra health now (Which is rather fitting with the idea of a person living in the "Here and Now" by choosing this perk). Unless you really need the level urgently, It would be in your best interest to choose a perk with more combat value.
  • In unpatched Fallout 2, if you chose this perk at a high level, you would gain a level for every 3 levels you had already got. So if you got it at level 15 you would get 5 or 6 free levels. You would, however, get no perks for these levels.
  • In Fallout 3 you can not take this perk at level 20, unless you have Broken Steel.
  • In Fallout 3 you can use this perk at level 29 to level to 30 then use a karma perk to gain three easy achievements if you have Broken Steel.
