The Helaspont Nebula is a nebula located coreward of the Tzenkethi Coalition. It contains the stars Theta Draconis and Orellius. (ST reference: Star Trek: Star Charts

In late 2371, the USS Ulysses was studying protoplanetary masses in the nebula. (DS9 episode: "The Adversary")

In early 2375, a Haradin trading vessel discovered a mysteriously abandoned Breen frigate drifting on the outskirts of the nebula, almost perfectly intact. They sold it to the Kropaslin, who wanted to make use of the advanced Breen biotechnology to improve their own. (SCE eBook: The Future Begins)

The Helaspont Nebula is a nebula located in the Alpha Quadrant near to the Federation-Tzenkethi border.

The Federation and Tzenkethi Coalition engage in the final major battle of their war at the edges of the nebula. (Star Trek: Swiftfire: "The Only Thing Necessary")

In 2371, the USS Ulysses conducted a study of protoplanetary masses within the nebula. (DS9: "Adversary") During its mission the Ulysses discovered the planet Echla, which was inhabited by a sentient humanoid species. (Star Trek: Swiftfire: "The Only Thing Necessary")

Four years later, the USS Swiftfire-A was dispatched to Helaspont to make first contact with the Echlans as they prepared to break the light barrier. Despite the advances made the Swiftfire still suffered from communication and sensor interference inside the nebula. (Star Trek: Swiftfire: "The Only Thing Necessary")
