The Hardy-Daytona is a motorcycle present in Final Fantasy VII. Cloud Strife rides the motorcycle out of the Shinra Headquarters in order to escape the building. This leads into a minigame in which Cloud must ride the motorcycle behind a pick-up truck carrying the other party members, while Cloud uses the Buster Sword to attack pursuing Shinra troops on their own motorcycles. This mini-game can later be replayed at the Gold Saucer, where GP and a Speed Source are rewarded for a high enough score.

Unlike later motorcycles in the game, the Hardy-Daytona is virtually identical to real-world designs, with visible wheel-guards, headlight, and exhaust pipes. The model is known as the "Hardy-Daytona", referring to the annual Daytona 200 motorcycle races, as well as the annual Daytona 500 NASCAR stock car races, that are held at the Daytona International Speedway in Daytona Beach, Florida, and is not an actual model of a motorcycle. An action figure of Cloud with the Hardy-Daytona has been released. The engine design is copied from the first generation of the Yamaha V-Max.

Crisis Core -Final Fantasy VII-

In Crisis Core there are two motorcycles: the Hardy-Daytona and one unnamed model with side-car, which Zack Fair uses to transport a catatonic Cloud Strife. None of them can be controlled by the player.
