The Hardedge is a recurring weapon in the Final Fantasy. It is a sword, more often than not, a greatsword. A hard-hitting weapon, it is usually a weaker or average weapon in amongst the other swords in its class. It often has an immunity to Doom.

The Hardedge appears as a weapon for Cloud in Final Fantasy VII. It can be bought in Junon on disk 1 and in Gongaga on all disks. It can also be stolen from a soldier during the first visit to Shinra HQ.
It is the third weakest weapon for Cloud.
The Hardedge is a greatsword in Final Fantasy Tactics Advance. A mid-table weapon, it has the special effect of nullifying Doom.
The Hardedge is a greatsword in Final Fantasy Tactics A2: Grimoire of the Rift. It is an average greatsword with six weaker and six stronger. It has an immunity to Doom.
The Hardege is a greatsword in Dissidia Final Fantasy. The second weakest Greatsword in the game, it gives a 10% physical damage increase.
