Ensign Green was a Starfleet officer who served aboard the USS Enterprise in the 2260s.
In 2265, Green was performing helmsman duties on the bridge while the senior staff were attending Lieutenant Lee Kelso's memorial service in the ship's chapel. (TOS - My Brother's Keeper novel: Constitution)
In 2266, Green accompanied Captain James T. Kirk to the surface of planet M-113 in an attempt to search for Nancy Crater, and during a search of the ruins he was killed by the M-113 creature.
The creature then took the form of Green and beamed back up to the Enterprise with the landing party. Once aboard, the creature kept the appearance of Green in order to search for more salt, and almost caught Yeoman Janice Rand. After a while, the creature abandoned the image of Green and instead assumed a form he could read from his prey's minds.
When Green's body was eventually discovered on the surface by Dr. Leonard McCoy and Captain Kirk, they realized that they were dealing with a threat that could take any form and eventually the creature was killed. (TOS episode: "The Man Trap")

The Green is a mystical realm inhabited by the minds of all members of the Parliament of Trees. It also connects all forms of botanical life on earth. Various plant elementals have been known to communicate with the Green as well, and appear to have an in-tune rapport with it. These select few include the following:
Another, the Floronic Man, went insane after attempting to connect with the Green through Swamp Thing.

The Green Anything Muppet is a green rod puppet with a conical-shaped head used on Sesame Street. Pantone 375 is used to define the color, officially referred to in the 1979 company style guide as a "yellow green." The most frequent designation for the collective pattern in the guides, however, is simply Green.
Sometime in the 1990s, the shade of green on the puppet style has changed from an almost yellow-green to a darker shade of green. However, the yellow-green version of the puppet is sometimes still used today. In 2009, a slightly larger, live-hand version has been used occasionally.
Popular Muppets made from the Green pattern include Sherlock Hemlock, Lefty the Salesman, Little Jerry, Clementine and Farley.

| The following is based on Van Buren and has not been confirmed by canon sources. |
Colonel Green is a ghoul, and was a career soldier and the head of security and operations at the Reservation during his smooth skin days. He was a hard man who expected things to be done right the first time and would not tolerate whiners. Not much has changed in two-hundred years.
Colonel Green was not one of the original twelve volunteers to traverse the wasteland in search of survivors. He thought it was a futile cause and wanted to stay back and build up a community at the Reservation, of which he would be the leader. His dream to rule over a tiny empire was shattered when Willem Clark returned from his year long journey with nearly three dozen ghouls. It was like the Messiah returning from a holy pilgrimage. Colonel Green knew he could not compete with Willem after that. Instead, Colonel Green offered his military leadership skills to Willem and formed an elite group of ghoul guards. Under his strict command, he and his ghoul guards became every bit an efficient a warrior as any Enclave or BOS soldier. With the added bonus of high powered rifles, caravans and raiders who know about the Reservation know not to mess with Colonel Green and his crew.
The one snag about Colonel Green is that he is extremely envious and jealous of Dr. Willem Clark’s commanding power over his fellow ghouls. In addition, Colonel Green does not agree that taking the fight outward to potential enemies is a very good idea (the whole dirty bomb scenario). Green would prefer to build up the ghouls’ arsenal and take a defensive posture – bring the fight to us, if you dare - type of thinking. If he could figure out a way to undermine Willem and seize control, he would be a very happy ghoul.
Green did not appear nor was mentioned in any of the published games, but was to appear in the cancelled Fallout 3 project by Black Isle codenamed Van Buren. It is not certain if he will appear in any future Fallout game.
Unique items ("green items") are items with set weapon modifiers and upgrades that are randomly dropped by certain (usually boss) monsters. Since many unique items have their own special appearances as well as having max modifiers and upgrades, these items can be very useful. Unique items were introduced in the 7th of September 2005 Sorrow's Furnace game update.

All non-Shing Jea/non-Istan unique items...
Some monsters have a chance of dropping unique items when killed. Most of these monsters are bosses. Some bosses can drop multiple different unique items. Bosses often drop more than one item upon death, so it is possible to receive more than one unique item at once. Of course, you can always trade with other players to get a unique item.
In the Prophecies Campaign, unique items can be found in the following areas:
After completing the Prophecies Campaign, unique items may be traded from certain collectors (in the Droknar's Forge (explorable)) using a Deldrimor Talisman.
In the Factions Campaign, many unique items may be found throughout the continent of Cantha. Additionally, unique items in Factions may be traded from certain collectors (in the Divine Path) using an Amulet of the Mists.
The same is true in the Nightfall Campaign, as many unique items can be found across Elona. Also, like Factions, unique, end-game items may be traded from certain collectors (in the Throne of Secrets) after the final mission using a Book of Secrets.
Also in the Eye of the North expansion, unique items can be found across Tyria and dungeons. End-game items may be traded from certain collectors (in the Epilogue) after the final mission using a Droknar's Key.

Green was a Human Black Sun Vigo under Prince Xizor.
Contents |
The Falleen prince selected Green as a vigo primarily because of the Human's network of spies. Green's ambitions to replace the Underlord were well known to Xizor, but he was not considered a credible threat. Many of Green's operatives were double agents with affiliations to Durga. Few of Green's rackets were sufficiently profitable in Xizor's eyes. Eventually, Xizor discovered that he was spying on Black Sun for an unknown outside organization. As a result, Xizor had Guri kill Green in front of his other Vigos as a message.
Green was middle-aged, and his hair was receding. Green's lavish dress reflected his belief that such costumes gained him the respect of his underlings.
