Gragoroth Levigne (ゴラグロス・ラヴェイン, Goragurosu Ravein), also known as Golagros Levine, is a minor character from Final Fantasy Tactics. He is one of the leaders of the Corpse Brigade. Unlike the other commoners, Gragoroth seems to be highly literate, as evidenced by him citing a poem threatening Zalbag at Fort Zeakden. He is 29 years old and a Virgo.
Shortly after the skirmish at the Brigands' Den, Gragoroth attempted to assassinate Dycedarg Beoulve at Eagrose Castle. He wounded Dycedarg, but could not finish him off. Instead, he attempted to seize Dycedarg's half-sister Alma. Thwarted by the intervention of Dycedarg's brother Zalbaag, Gragoroth seized Alma's friend Tietra Heiral instead, and fled on a Chocobo, taking Tietra back to the Windmill Hut.
Wiegraf Folles, leader of the Corpse Brigade, initially intended to have Tietra released, but when his sister Milleuda died in combat with Ramza Beoulve, Wiegraf resolved to fight instead. He ordered Gragoroth to take Tietra to Ziekden Fortress, where he believed they would be safe. At the fort, Gragoroth took command of the Corpse Brigade garrison, which was almost immediately attacked by the Order of the Northern Sky under Zalbaag. The Corpse Brigade were defeated, and Gragoroth was left alone at the entrance of the fort.
A hostage situation ensued: Gragoroth stood at the door of the fort with a knife to Tietra's throat. Beneath him stood the Northern Sky forces led by Zalbaag and another knight of lesser rank, Argath Thadalfus. Zalbaag demanded Gragoroth surrender, but he refused, warning the Northern Sky that he would blow up the fort's gunpowder store if they did not back off. At that moment, Zalbaag's half brother Ramza and Tietra's brother Delita arrived with reinforcements. Zalbaag ordered Argath into action, and Argath responded by shooting Tietra with his crossbow.
A stunned Gragoroth dropped Tietra only to be hit by a second crossbow bolt. Falling to his knees, Gragoroth crawled back inside and made his way downstairs to the gunpowder room. As his strength began to fail him, he lit the fuse and the entire fort exploded, killing him.
