Gnat is a genus in the Vermin family introduced in Final Fantasy XI: Wings of the Goddess. The countless dead left in the wake of the Crystal War made a veritable breeding ground for these pests, but they have not been seen in the relative peace since then. Gnats can only be encountered by traveling back in time.
