Lady Ginnem is a non-playable character from Final Fantasy X, involved primarily with Lulu's backstory.
Lady Ginnem was a summoner who lost her life while attempting to acquire the Aeon Yojimbo in the Cavern of the Stolen Fayth. Lulu was one of her Guardians and had never truly gotten over her grief of failing in her duties. When Yuna and the party stop to inspect the Cavern, Lulu is hesitant to enter as it brings back too many bad memories. Upon reaching the Fayth, Lady Ginnem appears in an unsent form. Lulu attempts to apologize for her failure, but Ginnem has become angry and resentful and summons Yojimbo to fight them. Lulu faces her demons and is finally able to lay the spirit of her former charge to rest on the Farplane.
Lulu can pay her a visit on the Farplane after her spirit was sent there. Additionally, if the player revisits the Farplane just after the initial events there, Lulu will be there, trying to speak with Lady Ginnem. When Tidus asks who she's trying to speak with, she tells him that it's none of his business. He apologizes and she softens, saying that it's not his fault. "Why aren't you here?" she asks of the pyreflies.
