"Geomancers utilize the power of the terrain and the weather to devastating effect."

Geomancer is a Job in Final Fantasy Tactics A2: Grimoire of the Rift, and is only available to Gria. The Job utilizes weather and terrain to attack the enemy, and is the only magic-based Gria Job. They use poles as weapons and robes and light clothing as their armor. It is advised to level your Gria up as a Raptor if you want to use this job to its full magical potential because the Raptor Job class has the highest Magic growth of all Gria Jobs. Alternatively, the Geomancer has both the greatest magical and physical defense growth of any class in the game. Thus they can be used to create a strong defensive unit with very ranged attacks. Her defensive prowess can be furthered by utilizing Bulwark while equipping a Ribbon. The fact that her offensive abilities are crippled by Magic growth, the terrain, and current weather leaves this Gria class a lot to be desired, but counterbalances her repertoire that enables inflicting an array of ailments in a five-tile area, away from her.
