Gabriela Busoni is the daughter of Angelo Busoni, a patient who came to St. Sebastian Hospital specifically to be treated by Jack. She says she knew about Jack and his previous miraculous operation. She also knows that Jack married the woman he preformed the "miracle" operation on but does not reveal how she knows any of this.

Jack attempts the surgery on her father, was successful in removing the tumor but his heart gave out and he dies during surgery. Gabriela later says that she doesn't blame Jack, and kisses him. She also confesses that she does not believe in miracles.

Trivia

  • Gabriela is a form of the name Gabriel, who is an angel in the Bible. And also, her father's name is Angelo.
  • Although an actual (if not very common) surname, "Busoni" in Italian is a pejorative slang term for "homosexual".
