History

Having tired of the Authority for interfering with Earth's affairs, but more in particular for selfish reasons, the G-7 nations: the United States of America, Canada, France, Britain, Japan, Germany, and Italy established a new Authority with each member representing each of their respecting nations and under their orders. In removing the current Authority, the United States have Seth Cowie incapacitated each member of the Authority, except for Midnighter, and causing the team's Carrier to crash into Antarctica allowing the G-7 Authority to commandeer the interdimensional vehicle.

Following after that, the original Authority were either brainwashed to serve the most humiliating lives, depowered (with the case of Apollo who was used as a punching bag by Late Call and Teuton), or gone underground; furthermore, the original team's fates were covered-up and proposed that all the members died from self-intoxication that the team used to do such as the previous parties that they have held, causing the Carrier to crash land in Antarctica causing everyone to die on impact.

With their initial role as "superheroes" the G-7 Authority are abusive and morally corrupt, in which they allowed to rid the Carrier's Southeast Asian refugees, that were mostly killed in the Carrier's crash, into Re-Space, the dimension that they were traveling through. Unfortunately, their misdoings inadvertently caused a series of events that caused all of Earth's "top one percent" richest nations turning into starving third world countries. Eventually the Colonel manage to restore the world's "status quo" and officially saved the world.

Immediately afterwords, the G-7 Authority and their respective nations start to utilize their roles in promoting and protecting their self-interests, such as hanging the Carrier with advertisements, the Surgeon ruthlessly made way in establishing a development franchise in the Garden of Ancestral Memory (including eliminating the Garden's entities and replacing with a 'corporate' god "Religimon"), and utilizing the Carrier to search natural resources in other dimensions.

Despite working as a "team", the G-7 Authority is constantly selfish in their own ways and often argue amongst themselves, most especially with the foul-mouth (and ignorant) Colonel.

Eventually the G-7 Authority came to a gruesome end, with Midnighter infiltrating back to the Carrier, freeing Apollo, and easily killing every member of the team.[1]

After the G-7 Authority's deaths and Seth Cowie's unsettling fate, many of the G-7 conspirators were presumably killed off (given Swift's beheading of her CEO "husband") and the American president, responsible for Seth's creation (but was initially unwilling in removing the original Authority), was forcefully sent into Iraq and was killed.[2][3]
