Flooded Sinkhole is a small sinkhole in Point Lookout with no inhabitants and no interior sections.

It is believed that the sinkhole was formed by the collapse of a mass burial site that after many years hollowed out from all of the corpses decaying.

A Flooded Sinkhole is a lake that separates the Trapper's Shack from the Grower's Shack. When you swim down to the bottom, tons of miscellaneous items float to the top. At the the bottom are three safes, a First Aid Kit and some barrels. Two Nuka-Cola Quantums can be found floating in the water here. Depending on your endurance you may have trouble making it to the bottom of the sinkhole, looting, and making it back up before running out of breath(an endurance of 8 will leave you with a second or two). Because of this it may be necessary to set stimpacks to a hotkey in the Pip Boy window and apply them rapidly to avoid death from drowning.

Inside the trailer by the sinkhole is a bed, but unfortunately it cannot be slept in due to the radiation all around the area.

Notable Loot

Flooded Sinkhole appears only in the Fallout 3 add-on Point Lookout.
