Performer:
Flash as he is seen in Muppets Tonight

Flash is the saxophone player from the band Solid Foam. He is very popular with the girls. Sometimes it's kind of hard to tell what he's saying, because he mumbles a lot (though he does sing coherrently).

Though a saxaphone player, Flash played the fiddle in episode 109.

Final Fantasy

From Final Fantasy Wiki

Flash in Final Fantasy V.

Flash is a recurring spell and ability that tends to adversely affect Accuracy.

Contents

Appearances

Final Fantasy

Flash is an enemy ability that can be used by Evil Eyes. It inflicts Blind and Paralysis on a single ally.

Final Fantasy IV: The After Years

Flash is a Ninjutsu spell, which can be used by Gekkou and Zangetsu. It inflicts Blind to all enemies, and costs 7 MP to use. Gekkou learns it at level 15, while Zangetsu learns it at level 11.

Final Fantasy V

Flash is a Blue Magic spell that inflicts the Blind status effect on all enemies. A Blue Mage may learn this spell from the Headstone, Crew Dust, Ramuh, Neon, Gilgamesh, Necrophobe, Azulmagia, Orukat, Parthenope, and Stone Mask enemies.

Final Fantasy VI

Flash is one of Edgar's Tools abilities. It inflicts non-elemental magic damage and the Blind status. It is unblockable and ignores Split Damage.

Final Fantasy VII

Flash is the final ability of the "Slash-All" Command Materia. It allows the user to attack all enemies and attempt to inflict Instant Death.

Final Fantasy XI

Flash is a White Magic spell and can be cast by Paladins and White Mages. Flash inflicts a severe Blindness status that lasts up to fifteen seconds (when unresisted). Flash generates a large amount of enmity for the caster, so it is a useful tool for a Paladin to gain the enemy's attention. Conversely, White Mages often avoid casting Flash to keep their Enmity levels as low as possible. Flash is based off of the Divine Magic skill, unlike Blind (which goes off Enfeebling Magic).

Actinic Burst is a Blue Magic spell that inflicts an area-of-effect Flash to all enemies in range. It is popular for Blue Mages because the severity of the Blind allows the caster to regroup in a pinch. Like Flash, it also generates a large amount of Enmity and is a useful tool for Blue Mage tanks.

Final Fantasy XII

Flash is an enemy ability that inflicts Blind on the entire party.

A Flash in GTA San Andreas (Rear quarter view).

The Flash is a compact two-door vehicle in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas.

Contents

Overview

The Flash's real life counterpart is the Nissan Pulsar GTI-R albeit lower and wider, and as such is designed as a sporty hatchback. It is the smallest car in the game.

The Flash has excellent handling due to its front wheel drive, which minimizes spinouts and burnouts, as well as excellent acceleration and speed due to its light weight and powerful engine. These traits make the Flash an ideal car for street racing, especially with a nitro upgrade. It is also useful for evading the cops.

Modifications

Possible combinations of modifications that can be given to Flash's at Wheel Arch Angels in GTA San Andreas.

The Flash is classified as a tuner, and thus can only be modified at Wheel Arch Angels at Ocean Flats, San Fierro.

Locations

Trivia

  • Due to the low height of its driver's seat, CJ will kick the car's occupant when jacking the car.
  • The default radio station in the Flash is SF-UR.

Transformers

Up to date as of February 05, 2010
(Redirected to Flash (G1) article)

From Teletraan I: The Transformers Wiki

The name or term Flash refers to more than one character or idea. For a list of other meanings, see Flash (disambiguation).
Flash is an Autobot Turbomaster from the Generation One continuity family.
Savior of the universe!

Flash's entire job is to be shot at. He uses his blazing fast speed to draw Decepticon fire away from his teammates. He's a show-off stuntman whose antics are as irritating to his fellow Autobots as they are to the Decepticons trying (and failing) to blast him, but his teammates tolerate him because hey, he's the guy getting shot at, not them.

He's also not too shabby a fighter, specializing in using his turbine engine to get in close enough to surprised aerial foes to peel off a few good shots of his own.

Contents

Fiction

Toy catalog comic

Flash seen here thinking about what he's about to do before he does it.

Flash acted as a decoy, racing across the land in an attempt to warn the Autobot base of an imminent Decepticon surprise attack. However, he unwittingly led the Predators to the base and was unaware that he was already too late.

Note: Flash was named "Breakneck" in this short comic. This is possibly a pre-production name that slipped through.

Dreamwave comics continuity

After the conquest of Cybertron by Megatron and the Aerospace Extermination Squadron, Flash and the rest of the Turbomasters evaded capture and participated in the Autobot underground resistance. Flash became highly frustrated at their lack of offensive action against the Decepticons, and he was aghast when Perceptor assigned the Turbomasters to monitor the Think Tank, a project designed to locate the missing Optimus Prime. When Perceptor left them alone, however, the Turbomasters partook in a game of tear-'n'-chase. Flash evaded his pursuing teammates, but accidentally drove into the Think Tank, sending him somewhere very far from home... The Age of Wrath issue 3

Note: Due to Dreamwave's plunge into bankruptcy, this story was never finished.

Toys

Generation One

Flash, I love you! But we only have fourteen hours to save the Earth!
  • Flash (Small Turbomaster, 1992)
    • Accessories: Engine/missile launcher, 3 missiles
Flash transforms into a heavily modified Lamborghini Diablo sports car. Like all Turbomasters, Flash has a turbine-engine accessory that becomes a spring-loaded missile launcher weapon for robot mode. The missiles on these toys are noteworthy for being far too small to pass US safety testing.
This mold was released in Japan with no changes as Spin Road, a completely separate character.

Trivia

  • Flash is pictured in vehicle mode, along with the other three small Turbomasters, in the Predator Skydive's Megavisor slide.
