Fire Strike requires a Magic level of 13 and can be surprisingly powerful while being cheap, as it can do a maximum of 8 damage per spell. It is also popular for free players because it is the strongest combat spell that only uses runes craftable in free play.

Fire Strike costs 44 coins for each cast. This can be lowered to 29 coins if you use a Staff of fire, or 20 coins per cast using a Staff of air.

Remember, you cannot use Ancient Magicks or Lunar Spells if you are using regular Magic.

Trivia

• This spell is the spell which is cast the most by the NPCs of RuneScape. Some of these NPCs are Wizards, Melzar the Mad and Dark Wizards in Dark Wizards' Tower.
• This spell was created by an ancient human named Jack, who is also the Magic Guild's founder
• Due to the spell being made by Jack, who lived north of current day Ardougne, that means the spell was made there as well.
