Fighting boots are obtained as a reward for completing the Stronghold of Security. If lost, they can be obtained, or exchanged for Fancy boots, from the Cradle of Life at the end of the fourth level. The boots have a different colour trim around them, depending on the player's hair colour. Thus, the style varies from player to player.

Fighting boots provide the same bonuses as bronze boots. These are also the best boots, along with Fancy boots that are available for free players.

Because the Safety gloves have the same colour scheme as the fighting boots, they are often worn along with the boots.

As with all foot-based equipment, except the leather boots and snakeskin boots, this item cannot be made using the Smithing or crafting skill.
