Fields was a Starfleet crewman assigned to the USS Enterprise in the mid-2260s.

In 2265, Fields was on duty in the hangar deck when he was contacted by Lieutenant Commander Spock and ordered to prepare the shuttlecraft Darwin for launch, so that a rescue party could be transported down to Delta Vega. (TOS - Crucible novel: The Fire and the Rose)

By 2266, Fields was assigned duty in the phaser room, and was on duty when the Enterprise engaged the Romulan Vas Hatham-class bird-of-prey, ChR Gal Gath'thong. (TOS episode: "Balance of Terror")

Fields as a security officer on Miri's homeworld (2267)

Around stardate 2715, Fields reported a suspicious crewman on deck 14 when there was a ship-wide search for an escaped mental patient from Tantalus V, Simon Van Gelder. (TOS episode: "Dagger of the Mind")

Later in 2267, Fields was attached to the security division around the time that the Enterprise visited Miri's homeworld, when he served on Captain James T. Kirk's landing party to the planet's surface. (TOS episode: "Miri")

Images are fields which cause harm to your character.

Fields

Name Walkable Attributes Notes
Energy Field (Field) Image:Energy Field (Field).gif Not movable. Can be made with the rune Energy Field. The field gives a damage of 30 and followed by 25 additional damage once the field is left. The energy field will last for 1 minute 38 seconds. The field vanishes 20 times faster on Non-PvP worlds, lasting only 5 seconds.
Fire Image:Fire.gif Not movable. Fire is one of the raw elements that formed when the goddess, Tibiasula, died and was formed into the world. The Pyromancers, sons and daughters of fire, are Dwarves who worship the fire element.
Stepping on these will burn you causing 20 Points of Damage and then following with 10 Damage/turn until the burn wears off.
Poison Gas Image:Poison Gas.gif Not movable. By stepping on these you get the Poisoned status and take 5 points of damage on contact, and will lose damage over time, starting at 5 Damage (4x5+5x4+7x3+10x2+19x1=100 total damage). Its effects can be cured by the Antidote spell or Antidote Runes and the gas removed by Destroy Field Rune
Searing Fire Image:Searing Fire.gif Not movable.
Smoke Image:Smoke.gif ? None. It looks much like a Poison Field.
Spikes Image:Spikes.gif Not movable. These are forms of Traps which act similar to Fields, stepping on them will harm your character.
