History

Ferak was but one member of a botanically bred race of plant people (also known as Feraks) who live with Poison Ivy in Robinson Park. During the "No Man's Land" edict, Ferak escaped and was found running amok throughout the city. Helena Bertinelli, in the guise of Batgirl, confronted Ferak and was able to calm her down. She convinced Ferak to return to the sanctuary of Robinson Park.

Following the lift of the No Man's Land edict, the Gotham City Police Department and the city council wanted Ivy and her minions to leave Robinson Park. Ivy refused to do so, and Ferak remained there, even when police commissioner James Gordon threatened to spray the park with pesticides. After deliberation, Ivy, Ferak and the rest of her followers agreed to vacate the park.
