A Fan Club is a group that is dedicated to a well known or popular person, group, idea, or object. Most fan clubs are run by fans, for fans, who devote considerable time and resources to supporting them. There are also "official" fan clubs that are run by someone associated with the person or organization the club is centered around, as opposed to "unofficial" where the club owners are not directly linked to the target of fandom.

The Official Lost Fan Club was run by Creation Entertainment. To gain membership to the fan club, fans had to purchase an Official Lost Fan Club Kit. The kits came with several merchandise items like t-shirts, posters, decals and membership to the Fan Club site. The site contained features such as news, interviews, photos, puzzles, fan submissions and special merchandise offerings. The current site was continually updated until January 15, 2007 when a new Fan Club Kit was meant to be available. A third kit was never made available, because the Fan Club was closed down due to unknown reasons.
