Family Feud is a televised game show that pits two families of five against each other in a contest to guess the most popular responses to surveys posed to groups of 100 people. The show was first hosted by Richard Dawson, who has been succeeded by Ray Combs, Louie Anderson, Richard Karn, and John O'Hurley.

Appearances

The Muppets appeared on five episodes of Family Feud hosted by Louie Anderson during the week of November 9, 2001, competing against The Dixie Chicks and friends (country music singers Buck Owens and Keith Urban). Muppets in competition included Kermit, Pepe the King Prawn, Johnny Fiama, Dr. Phil Van Neuter, Sal Minella, Mo Frackle, and Sweetums, while Rizzo was also seen in the audience.

  • Sesame Street parodied Family Feud in 1981 as Family Food. The sketch was hosted by original Feud emcee, Richard Dawson.
