Ernie and Bert's Different Day is a 1988 Sesame Street storybook featuring Ernie and Bert.

Ernie awakens with a plan for the day, and a fresh new way to exasperate Bert. He decides to do everything the opposite of Bert, and the roommates switch shirts for the day. At the playground, Bert avoids a sprinkler and Ernie runs through it, Bert stays clean while Ernie gets messy in the sandbox, and Ernie walks backwards for the sake of being different. At home, Bert becomes annoyed when Ernie's efforts to be different disrupt his evening, so he goes to bed. Ernie wishes him "Good morning!" in farewell.
