Emily's struggling to move on with her life following Ramsay's shock death. But when she returns home from work early she gets little sympathy from Norris. Unable to stand his coldness, Emily turns to Rita and admits that she's sick of losing loved ones and having to pick herself up.

As Rita comforts her, Emily decides to call an uneasy truce with Norris. But she's shocked when Norris reveals that he's planning to refuse all that Ramsay has bequeathed him.

As Fiz heads out wedding dress shopping, she lets Kirk know where she's going but insists that he keep quiet, explaining that she wants to tell Chesney herself. Kirk, however, lets slip to Chesney about Fiz marrying John in prison it looks like she's missed her chance to break the news to him herself. Chesney storms round to the factory where a major row ensues.

Meanwhile, Tyrone's desperate to fix his faltering marriage and so tells Molly that he's cooking lunch for her. Molly reluctantly agrees and as Tyrone serves her a Chinese takeaway, he makes it clear that there's much more on offer.

At the Rovers, Liz becomes fed up of waiting for Leanne's decision so asks Michelle to cover the shift instead, much to Steve and Becky's annoyance.

And caught between two women, Luke makes an excuse to avoid a date with Rosie in the hope of stealing some time with Michelle.
